So I recently went on to Elle.com and ran into a designer called Temperely London I looked at some of the new looks and I fell head over heels. Although some of outfits were not my favorite I absolutely adore all of her evening gowns and dresses. Some of them especially stuck out to me including:

Well just like I promised, I am going to tell you/show you my findings from the mall! I mainly went to two stores today: Nordstrom and Forever21. Don't ask me why but I found a ton of hidden gems there today! I am also doing my first photo post so don't be too harsh on it.

New School Year, New opportunities?

Hey everyone, Courtney here.

So as everyone already knows, a new school year had begun and I have no idea what is going to come of it. I often wonder what fights will unfold, who I will become friends with, who I will become enemies with, who I will like/date? I do have some goals set for this year but knowing me, I will most likely get sidetracked.

1) Study really hard, ace the ACT, and strive academically.

I know that's a pretty high bar to set but I am definitely willing to try and avoid my procrastinating problems as best as possible.

2) Get my license & perfect my stick shift driving skills.

3) Get a job.

4) Get in really good shape.

And that's basically my to-do list thus far!

What elseeee.. Oh yes! I am heading over to the mall tomorrow in hopes of finding a plethora of cute clothes. I have been so busy lately that I have not had time to shop so I am basically running on about four or five shirts. After I return I will post all about my wonderous findings.

I mean I do have a lot more that I could tell you all about but I don't think I want to blab on and on about my life so for right now I'll leave it at that!

Lace and height.

Hey guys and gals.

So lately I have been super obsessed with lace. I have an oversized light pink lace shirt that I got from Nordstrom Rack for dirt-cheap that I just love! ...Well I'm unable to show a picture sooo anywayyy.

So some could say that I am rather tall (I'm 5'11) and I don't always feel like being a giant among my friends so I really need a new pair of beautiful flats. The only problem is, I never am able to find any cute flats! If anyone out there finds an awesome pair of flats, please send a shoutout!!

So I went to the mall today and I popped into Forever 21 and I absolutely fell head-over-heels for these Mary Jane Pumps.

Aren't they gorgeous? Anyway I think that this post is going to mainly be about me. Lame? Well I am currently scrolling through my iTunes and I was wondering what everyone out there was listening to? Currently I love: Hollywood Undead, Flyleaf, Panic! at the Disco, Drake, Paramore, Eminem, Mumford & Sons, Lil Wayne (cliche), Three Days Grace.

i've been beyond busy.

Hey everyonee.

Once again, I have been so busy that I have been neglecting my blog.. tsk tsk.

Well this weekend was good. Wait? This weekend was honestly terrible. I mean I like getting pulled over by the cops and having the driver lie not only to all of us but to the policemen. But he got what he deserved: DWI. So, basically, I am never talking to him and his friendless ass again.

But anywhoo, I was looking through the April issue of Vogue and I loved the entire spread on Lady Gaga. The looks were all of course Gaga-inspired but one really stuck out to me. It was the Alexander McQueen (who else?) gold-embroidered tulle dress. I love any McQueen creation.

I don't know why I am so obsessed, but I am.

Not only does this video use a good amount of special effects, but the makeup and fashion are insane. KP is seen as an alien and her multiple looks really set the bar high for futuristic fashion. I love the costumes, they remind me of Versace and their use of gladiator or alien-like clothing lines.

Highlighter hues. Chic or weak?

Lately, premieres and carpets have been filled with designs featuring many brightly colored fashionistas. Now, I love a good pop of color, but there is a limit. I feel that people need to know the difference between totally in and disturbingly out.

Here is a photo of four Hollywood beautys all taken over by the so-called "Color-Block Craze." I feel Emma Stone (far left) rocks this one shoulder Lanvin dress while Zoe Saldana (far right) is overpowered by this Prabal Gurung creation.

Creative writing classs.

So for our creative writing class we had to write several poems & I guess I can share one or two

Dreams

I wake up

The pictures rushing through my mind

Trying to put them together,

But they do not fit.

Throughout the day, memories of that night come flooding back to me

I try to explain them but I sound crazy.

I know that even if I were to explain them,

No one truly cares

Everyone pretends to listen, but in the end

They do not think twice about it

Unlike them, the dream affects ourself in a way

That could not be possible if we fully understood them

That's the mystery of dreaming

No one knows why we do it

No one knows how we do it

No one knows how to change them

They are beyond the imagination

They stretch our minds, only to have them forgotten moments later

Dreams are.

In the next poem we had to state lies about someone we cared about. Note: None of this is true.

Breaking the ice.

My very first blog. Well to all those out there, thanks for viewing! This blog will follow the life of a girl who loves fashion, style and everything inbetween. Favorite designers? Alexander McQueen, Marchesa, Marc Jacobs, American Apparel, Versace, and Oscar de la Renta.
